Families of Latvia

Latvia has some similarities with Polish customs, although these are completely different countries. If in many other countries of the world there is a decline in the birth rate, then in Latvia there is no such problem, and is not expected in the near future. The thing is that Latvia does not have abortions as such, they are banned, and families with many children still retain their positions.

However, children require that the family budget is sufficient to ensure that every child has been provided with decent conditions for further development and study. Everyone needs to learn, and how to do it if the parents’ financial resources can not be calculated to allow all children to get a higher education and thereby give them the opportunity to get a job in prestigious jobs.

Not only for parents it is important to arrange a decent life for your child. It is also in the interests of the state itself, and therefore the government in Latvia itself first of all creates all the conditions for obtaining a good education and provides assistance to people who can not always solve problems themselves with training and creating an adequate level of living.

Young families in Latvia start a joint life with the fact that they first create a material base, after which they plan their family so that they do not create unnecessary problems with a large number of children.

Despite the fact that children in Latvia are always a great joy, it will still be much better if there are sufficient conditions for their upbringing. Assistance in raising children is provided by grandparents who take great responsibility in bringing up children and caring for them while their parents are busy at work.

The father, although he can help the spouse in the care of the child, and even does not refuse to take leave to care for the child, refuses to do the dirty work. He would never refuse to go out with a child for a walk, but only if the wife dressed him and completely collected all the necessary things on the road. In order to feed, change clothes, bathe a child – this father can not, and will never do.

Not only that all the upbringing of children practically lies on the shoulders of the mother, the woman also must also keep the ideal cleanliness in the house. A man in the family has full and indisputable power, when a woman is obliged to create coziness in the house and convenience for living. And this state of affairs of women is absolutely not oppressive, because they find particular pleasure in creating a glossy purity in the house.

In addition, in Latvia, a woman, even if she is busy in the morning with work and affairs, always has time to watch herself and always remains beautiful and well-groomed at any time of the day. As she manages to do this, it’s simply impossible to imagine, because you can not see a woman in Latvia who does not know how and what to do with her time.

If she combines work and households and can bring a much larger income for the family, the man is still considered the main and is the main breadwinner. A somewhat strange situation, in which a woman could take all rights for a long time, but this does not happen, because women have always respected men’s power and authority.

Love and respect in the family is always present and under any situation, even if the man is the master and authority. A man will always support his wife, and she in turn will always be on her husband’s side so that it does not happen. Everyone sees his happiness in family relations for himself, and Latvians understand family relations in their own way.

It’s very interesting to choose a name for a child in Latvia. For this purpose, all the relatives come together, each of whom shares his possible proposals. However, still important are the names that can be chosen by the elders. It turns out that parents can not decide on their own choice of names for their children and they just have to accept the names that their grandparents choose for their children. These may be names in honor of saints or ancestors and they have to be reconciled, because this tradition has existed for a very long time.

In recent years, a large number of single mothers have appeared in the country, who have to educate their children without a father, and so many children who were destined to be born in an incomplete family, outside of marriage. Mothers in this situation are very difficult to raise a child alone, despite the fact that the help of parents is a big plus, when the mother has to go to work sooner than the due date.

Child benefits in Latvia can not help the mother get out of the problem and therefore the government is currently considering new provisions on how to make life easier for children in single-parent families.

Many mothers who can not even hope for the help of their parents are forced to leave their children in orphanages, and this is where strong state help comes. Children in orphanages should receive everything that they can not receive in their family.

Education in Latvia is also becoming more developed to date, and every child can get a full education. Starting from primary school and ending with higher education in a prestigious university – all this is available and possible for all parents.

If you want and with financial opportunities, parents in Latvia are trying to send their children to study abroad, which is now becoming very fashionable. This increases the opportunity for children and adolescents to get a job more prestigious and get a good job.

Not always everything turns out at once, but in Latvia the inhabitants of the country try to do everything in their power to create a normal and decent standard of living for themselves. Working for yourself, for your country and for your children is the most important thing that needs to be done to get the opportunity to develop further.
