Education Abroad

is the process and result of the assimilation of systematized knowledge, skills and habits. In the process of education, there is a transfer from generation to generation of knowledge of all those spiritual riches that mankind has developed, the assimilation of the results of social and historical knowledge reflected in the sciences of nature, society, technology and art, as well as mastering the skills and abilities.
Education is a prerequisite for preparing for life and work, the main means of bringing a person to culture and mastering it; the foundation of the development of culture. The main way of getting education is to study in various educational institutions. A significant role in the assimilation of knowledge, mental development of man is played also by self-education, cultural and educational work, participation in social and labor activity.

Study abroad is too expensive.

Indeed, studying abroad costs money, and considerable (especially when it comes to prestigious educational institutions). But the specialists of a professional agency that are well-versed in the world of existing curricula and existing discounts will help you not only to choose the right educational institution, but also to save, for example, additional expenses. Capable students with good knowledge of foreign languages can receive a grant or scholarship (especially in master’s programs), and in some countries (Great Britain, Australia, Ireland, Canada) students have the right to earn extra money.

Our certificates abroad are not listed.

This is not true. For example, the Russian secondary school diploma and diplomas of state-accredited educational institutions (MSU, MGIMO, MEPhI, MIPT, MAI, MSTU, Bauman, etc.) are recognized in many countries (and the diplomas of higher education institutions are highly quoted, especially in the field exact and natural sciences). Graduates of schools before entering a foreign university must first finish their education (schooling abroad lasts 12 years, the programs of educational institutions also differ somewhat, because there is a certain gap in the level of knowledge of graduates). For this, there are courses Studienkolleg (Germany), Foundation (UK, Australia), etc.

I regularly pay for my studies, which means I have a diploma.

Educational institutions value their reputation, so you still have to study (and diligently!), And behave accordingly, because for some abuses (fights, systematic omissions, and – the most flagrant violation – tips on exams) you will be expelled from school or university.

The prices for the education of foreigners are the same as for local residents.

Not necessary – the price policy depends on the administration of the educational institution. After all, foreign universities have the right to establish a higher tuition fee for foreigners.

It’s best to go to Harvard, Oxford, Cambridge, etc.

Undoubtedly, it’s quite tempting to enter the most prestigious institution. But it should be remembered that those wishing to take the exam in the above-mentioned universities are subjected to very strict selection. For example, if you want to go to Harvard, you should be prepared for the question: What are your special services to society? And it is unlikely that your confused silence will be counted as an intelligible answer. Therefore, it is best to choose a university, maybe not so famous, but with a good reputation of the faculty you are interested in. At the same time, it should be remembered that in almost all higher education institutions you will be presented with certain introductory requirements, which you must meet (for example, knowledge of English at 550 points in the TOEFL test, the presence of good grades in the certificate, etc.).

A foreign diploma will open my way to a well-paid job.

This is by no means necessary. Undoubtedly, if you studied at Oxford, there are advantages, which can not be said about other foreign universities (which, like everywhere else, are divided into more and less prestigious).It should be remembered that the employer will evaluate not only your diploma, but you as individuals (in interviews or in the process of special testing). In addition, keep in mind that there are specialties with good career prospects and specialties, according to which employment is problematic (both abroad and at home). For example, in dentists the prospect of employment is much higher than that of a person who has mastered the humanities or social sciences.

Foreigners are taken to foreign universities for money.

This is not entirely true, although in some countries (where local residents do not pay for tuition at all or pay only symbolically), a substantial part of the income of an educational institution is money received from foreigners as a tuition fee. But a more significant factor is internationalization in the world of education. The presence among students of representatives of different nationalities leads to a mutual enrichment of cultures, an understanding of the characteristics of another style of thinking, etc.

Scholarship in a foreign university can not be obtained.

Wrong opinion. It should be remembered that there are several types of scholarships abroad:
for students who have demonstrated high achievements in studies, sports or arts (merit-based);
for students who have stated (and justified) that they need financial assistance;
for representatives of individual national or social groups.
A student within a master’s program can also apply for a scholarship after having worked a certain number of hours as part of the professor’s assistance in teaching, teaching assistment, or research assistment. But on bachelor’s programs to earn a scholarship is really very difficult.

The scholarship is paid to the student.

In fact, in foreign universities with a student who has received the right to a scholarship, simply require less money for training – they do not give out cash on hand.

After graduation, you should immediately receive an MBA.

This is not true. Training for MBA (Master of Business Administration) requires work experience (about two years). Therefore, immediately after the completion of training for an MBA, one should not hope.

Study abroad is measured in credits – this type of measurement is directly related to money.

Indeed, the name of the unit that measures the complexity of the course is credit, but it has no relation to the payment of training. For example, in the US, the weight of the loan rate can vary from 1 to 5 (1 loan is easy, most often, an introductory course, and 5 is a complex subject).
