Height – 45 cm, weight – 2500 gr.
The date of planned delivery is getting closer and closer. All the organs of your baby are viable and delivery at week 35, of course, undesirable, but almost not dangerous for him. True, the child’s gastrointestinal tract is not yet fully ready for mastering mother’s milk. After a birth there can be problems with digestion of food and, as consequence, temporary weight reduction. But this is all fixable.
Amniotic fluid becomes viscous and sticky, in it may appear particles of meconium – the original feces of the baby. This is normal for the last weeks of pregnancy and you should not worry.
The kid more and more weight, he already has plump cute hangers and legs. The skin has ceased to be wrinkled and has acquired a natural color. Although many say that babies are born red or blue and wrinkled, but in fact it has nothing to do with the color and condition of the skin of a deeply premature baby.
Nails trimmed the baby’s fingers. Now they have grown to their natural length (to the edge of the fingers), and many will have a decent manicure at the time of delivery. Some babies even have time to scratch themselves in the womb – because now there is both cramped and uncomfortable, and you have to sit upside down.
In one case, for 170 births, during development of the fetus, the placenta prevails, that is, the wrong attachment of the placenta to the uterine wall, in which it partially or completely covers the uterine zoe (the way your child will pass to be born).
This is a serious pathology, as it leads to life-threatening bleeding during labor and during pregnancy. Most often, it occurs in those who give birth late and in those who previously suffered a cesarean section.
At the same time, according to ultrasound scientists, it became clear that early placenta prevalence is found in very many women, but with the development and growth of the baby, the placenta seems to move up and release the way to it.
A sign of placenta previa is bleeding, but without pain and contractions of the uterus, usually after 32 weeks of pregnancy. If you suspect a presentation, the doctor should not look at you at the gynecological chair, only ultrasound is used to obtain the necessary data.
Very often, when the placenta is advanced, the child is placed down in the uterus. Because of this, as well as the threat of blood loss, a caesarean section is usually prescribed.
The average weight gain this week is about 12.5 kg. The height of the bottom of the uterus is 35 cm.
It is already very difficult to move, and I do not want to. However, you can not always sit or lie, otherwise you risk earning complications on the veins. Best – walk: quietly, slowly, preferably in the park. Enjoy the last weeks of peace and quiet. You do not need to rush anywhere, for anything to worry about.
After 4-5 weeks, and maybe even earlier, your baby will appear and you will have a completely different life, full of diapers, sleepless nights and anxiety for any reason. And now save power, drink vitamins, breathe oxygen.
You may suffer from insomnia and low back pain. From the latter, you are unlikely to get rid of the birth, and in occasion of the first one you can say that this way the body prepares you for night watch at the crib of the baby. However, everything is good in moderation. You must sleep and sleep.
You can not take any hypnotic drugs, except for a weak infusion of valerian (weak!). Use better natural means that promote healthy sleep: evening walks, relaxing warm (but not hot) baths (not for long!), Turn off the TV so that it does not make you nervous, do not drink a lot of liquids at night.
How does the course of labor relate to the position your child has chosen?
Head presentation – head down, facing the back of the mother (about 60% of cases). This is the standard situation, childbirth go according to the usual scenario.
Head presentation, but face to mother’s abdomen (35% of cases).A little wrong position, since the baby’s nose faces the pubis of the mother, but is not an indication for caesarean section. In general, the very baby does not care at all, but my mother can be very hurt, because with her whole skull the child will put pressure on the sciatic nerve.
Very unpleasant pain will be felt by the mother in the entire waist, abdomen, upper legs. In addition, with this position of the head, the perineal rupture of the mother is possible. In this case, in order not to suffer, we recommend to think about anesthesia.
Face forward (and not the back of the head, as usual). Quite rare (0.17% of cases) position of the baby, in which they rush into the birth canal face. There is a risk of infringement of a head of the kid at passage to it of bones of a basin. A doctor can recommend a cesarean, although natural births are possible.
Frontal presentation (0.02% of cases) – the child moves forward with the forehead and most of the skull. But in this way he can not pass through the birth canal (just the size of his head in this case will be too big). The doctor will do the caesarean section.
Pelvic presentation (about 4-5% of children) – the baby is located with the buttock to the cervix, the legs are stretched up or folded in Turkish. Childbirth will be difficult, the child will go out in three stages: ass and legs, trunk, the last one goes head.
Before deciding whether to cesarean, the doctor must do a study of your pelvis. If the pelvis is too narrow, then a decision will be made about a cesarean. Otherwise, the birth will begin naturally, but with any complication, cesarean will be done, it is also possible to cut the perineum (episiotomy).
Shoulder (transverse) presentation (0.2% of cases) – the child lies obliquely, as if in a deckchair. It often occurs in mothers who have given birth to many children by this time. They have too stretched the uterus, which can not support the child in a vertical position. Caesarean section will be done.
And the last. On these terms, the future mother is worried, she can be afraid of everything, even childbirth, however much she would like them to come soon. Remember that everything that happens to you happens to most pregnant women. You have to wait a little.
Re-read our recommendations again at week 23, which details the state of prenatal depression. Be strong! Cry, relax, allow yourself everything that can make you happy, even if it seems strange to others. Remember: you are pregnant, you still can not!
