Mineral water refers to such water, which contains trace elements, dissolved salts and active elements. Such a liquid is usually used for spa treatment. And for external use, mineral water is suitable, baths are made with it, it is rinsed by the upper respiratory tract, the body.

Mineral water is abundantly presented on the shelves of our stores, it can be freely purchased and at home to take. But, as practice shows, our ideas about it are not always reliable. Hinder the objectivity of numerous myths, which are often satisfied with the townsfolk. Some of the most popular misconceptions about mineral water are worth debunking.

The plastic container has its undeniable advantages – it is easier to transport, it is airtight. If the composition contains polyethylene terephthalate, then the container will be harmless. Under ordinary conditions, nothing is allocated to the storage of water in it. But in the mid-1990s, when plastic containers began to appear in our country, manufacturers often used PVC (PVC). In such containers, after three months, the concentration of harmful substances exceeded the permissible standards. The water began to smell unpleasant. Most likely, that’s when the myth originated. People began to be wary of plastic bottles. There is such a problem today. One-day companies can use the cheapest option for their packaging. That is why it is worth choosing proven companies that have been operating in the market for a long time. Scientists have checked the electrical conductivity and magnetic radiation of mineral water in different containers. It turned out that the liquid in the plastic is more stable. This refutes the settled myth of the superiority of plastic. In general, the choice of packaging depends heavily on the mentality of people. So, in Germany, plastic chooses 5% of people, and in America – 80%, in Brazil, in general, 97%. Reasons here in the history of packaging. In Europe, bottled mineral water began in the middle of the XIX century, of course, in glass. But in Eastern Europe, such water is consumed regularly by 65-70% of citizens. To a healthy person, carbonated mineral water does not hurt, you just need to know the extent. This water is good for dilution of wine. To many, carbonated water seems more delicious.Much depends also on how the water is aerated. If this occurs at a lower temperature, the gases will not be visible. Water will also have an acidic pleasant taste. Not only that there is no universal remedy for all microorganisms, so also their use would increase the cost of the liquid by half. A stored non-carbonated water for a long time for another reason. Germs can not germinate themselves, they need to get into the bottle from the outside. With a good production culture, this is impossible. The best producers place clean underground water in the container, in which there are no pathogenic microorganisms. From the environment, they too can not get into the liquid, because in the shops air is decontaminated by bactericidal lamps. Attention is also paid to the clothes of the staff, and the cleanliness of bottles and caps.

It can be both artificial mineralization, and demineralization, ultraviolet treatment, chemical purification, reverse osmosis. In such water, mineral substances can be of both natural origin and artificially added.
