The user is offered to choose one of five security levels, and the computer, in accordance with the real dive profile itself, provides recommendations for performing safety stops. Their depth and duration depend entirely on the diving profile of the diver. It is curious that safety stops in this case are not mandatory for suppression of microbubbles, in contrast to decompression stops. In the event that the diver stops the computer, the computer automatically reduces the level of security, making appropriate changes in the overall decompression calculation. It can really be assumed that Galileo does not support the rule of deep stops, in fact the computer uses its own algorithm to prevent the appearance of microbubbles.
The computer uses a rare type of battery, so replacing it is very problematic.
Galileo uses a lithium battery CR2NP or CR12600SE, and in transmitters – CR2450. Such devices are manufactured by different manufacturers and are not at all rare, as they are used in various widely used devices, including cameras.
