Families of Belgium

The Belgian family can be fully described as the strongest of all families in the world. Let even meetings with relatives be only formal and will manage only light friendly kisses. However, the very fact that these people, sometimes even in different countries and on different continents, never lose touch, is of great importance.

Most often, of course, relatives in Belgium always live nearby, and when the whole family gathers, the house is filled with children’s voices, cheerful laughter, noisy meetings are warm.

What is surprising, even teenagers and young people are happy to visit all their uncles, aunts, grandmothers and grandfathers. At such meetings, there are always a lot of all tasty food, which they try to feed young children and young children.

In one house in Belgium, only parents and children always live, the newlyweds try to settle separately from the vigilant control of their parents, they acquire their children.

The parents of the newlyweds living side by side are very welcome, because they can take their grandchildren from kindergarten or meet them from school when young people want to spend time alone or relax from constantly spinning under their feet offspring.

Belgians are very fond of traveling they are ready with their family to go around the world some even set themselves such goals. Despite the fact that the Belgians at the heart of their very economical, they spend only one vacation, which is carried out together with the whole family more than 2 thousand dollars, and this is only at one time. How many a year can Belgian families make such trips? On a full vacation, the Belgians are not used to saving.

The beloved occupation of the Belgians, who gather with their large families, is the pleasure of talking about everything. They can spend hours and hours discussing everything, sharing all the news and gossip, but never discussing a deplorable financial condition.

Belgians always welcome guests in their home, and also meet with pleasure in various cafes, restaurants or clubs, where you can drink excellent beer and again talk about the pressing issues.

Belgians are very temperamental, but their explosive nature does not always manifest immediately. Sometimes it happens that a married couple, who has lived in marriage for many years, begins to get to know each other in real life. It would seem that a completely calm and balanced person changes in a matter of days, and becomes simply not recognizable, and then real storms of emotions and passions take place in the family.

The most favorite meeting of all the numerous relatives in Belgium is a wedding. This is exactly the moment when everyone can boast of their achievements, new place of residence, their clothes and plenty to listen to and tell all the interesting news.

After an exchange of courtesies and greetings, all the guests sit down at the table and start eating abundant food, from which the tables are always just breaking. Weddings are always very fun, with songs and dances.

However, there is one very interesting feature, which is that no children are ever present at a wedding. Because of what it happens, it is not clear. Perhaps due to the fact that children carry with them turmoil and turn under their feet; perhaps, because this is not a children’s holiday, and if you think about it, it really is. However, the fact remains that children are not allowed to weddings in Belgium.

At the present time, all congratulations on holidays and birthday are sent by e-mail or by phone. However, the Belgians here also succeeded, because they still use the services of postal greeting cards.

Postcards are sent to each relative, even if he is very close. To date, it is hardly possible to find at least one more such country where on holidays a huge number of postcards are sold, as in Belgium.

Normally, the Belgians get married at a more conscious age in 25 to 30 years, when everyone already determines their life goals and realizes the seriousness of family relations.

First of all, the young family strives to create their own nest: cozy and warm, where they will feel confident and secure as behind a stone wall in the literal sense of the word. Only after that they think about replenishing the family.

Due to the fact that the arrangement of their housing requires considerable expenses, usually both spouses work in the family, because it is necessary to pay loans and mortgages for housing, as well as insurance.

Even after the birth of a child, the mother goes to work pretty soon and gets a full salary as before pregnancy. This is of course very convenient, if there are no problems with grandparents who agree to nurse their grandchildren.

Otherwise, the child has to hire a nanny. In particularly difficult situations, parents are always ready to help their newlyweds, but despite the strength and cohesion of family relationships, parents in Belgium always give money only on credit. From this it follows that after all, parents let their children go for a free swim in the stormy expanse of independent family life.

In a Belgian family, all duties are divided between husband and wife, equally, and there is never a dispute over who to throw garbage or wash clothes and wash dishes. Husband with pleasure can stand in the kitchen if the spouse is late at work.

In addition, each family chooses for itself the form of accounting of expenses, which is closest to them. Perhaps, to open a common account for which the husband and wife will each month transfer a certain amount of money or select a separate account of funds, but in this case all the expenses are distributed among the spouses, that is, one of the spouses is responsible for one expenditure, the other – for others.

Belgians take care of the future of their children, and for the time being the child is just getting used to the world, parents are already planning which educational institution he will study and which will receive a specialty.
